  1. حق عيني رؤية الوجه المليحْ

    قد أتانا خبر فيه صحيحْ

    My eyes have the right to see the beautiful face

    We have received true news about it

  2. قول طه إن للعين التي

    هي عين لك حقاً قد أتيح

    Say O Taha that the eye which

    Is truly your eye has been made possible

  3. فليؤد كل ذي حق هنا

    حقه الوارد في النصح الصريح

    So let everyone with a right here

    Fulfill his right mentioned in the honest advice

  4. فهو معروف لدى عارفنا

    خافياً عن كل ذي وجه قبيح

    It is well known to our knower

    Hidden from everyone with an ugly face

  5. وجه من ينكر دين المصطفى

    ويرى ذاك حراماً ما أبيح

    The face of whoever denies the religion of Mustafa

    And sees that which is made permissible as prohibited

  6. إن هذا هو شرعي دائماً

    وبه ألقى إلهي في الضريح

    This is always my law

    And through it I will meet my God in the grave

  7. فليمت غيظاً ويفنى كمداً

    كل من ينكره لا يستريح

    So let everyone who denies it die of rage

    And perish smoldering, not resting

  8. أين نبت الورد في الخدين من

    كل بدرٍ طالع من نبت شيح

    Where did the roses on the cheeks come from

    From every rising full moon from the plants of Sheeh

  9. والذي ما عنده فرق يرى

    بين وجه الشعر والوجه الصبيح

    And those who do not distinguish

    Between the face of poetry and the radiant face

  10. فهو حيوان ولا عقل له

    في هوى الدنيا له قلب قريح

    They are animals without intellect

    With corrupt hearts inclining towards this world

  11. يعشق الملعونة الدنيا التي

    هو ملعون بها كلب نبيح

    They love the accursed world

    They are cursed dogs barking

  12. إن يقل عنا عرته صبوة

    صبوة الجهل بها المرء جريح

    If our virility decreases

    It is the virility of ignorance that wounds a man

  13. ما صبا قلبي ولكن هام في

    مجتلى وجه كريم لا شحيح

    My heart did not sober up, but it swooned

    In the beautiful face of a generous man, not stingy

  14. فانظروا العاشق منكم كيف في

    طمس قلب وعمى عين يسيح

    So look at the lover among you, how he is

    In the blindness of hearts and the blindness of eyes

  15. وانظروا العاشق منا كيف في

    فيض علم الله والفتح الفسيح

    And look at the lover among us, how he is

    In the abundance of God's knowledge and ample success

  16. ما لكم من نظر يا هؤلا

    غير بهتان وتشنيع فضيح

    What sight do you have, O those

    Other than confusion and disgraceful slander

  17. فاستعدوا لسواد الوجه في

    يوم حق صادق الوعد رجيح

    So prepare for the blackness of faces

    On the day the truthful in his promise prevails

  18. واعملوا ما شئتموه ههنا

    كل قول هو منكم مثل ريح

    And do what you wanted here

    Every saying from you is like wind

  19. نحن قوم لا نبالي بالذي

    قيل فينا هو ذم أو مديح

    We are a people who do not care about what

    Has been said about us, whether dispraise or praise

  20. حسبنا الله الذي نعرفه

    وبه نهوى تجليه الرجيح

    God, whom we know, is enough for us

    And through Him we aspire for His glorious manifestation

  21. أنكرت أمثالكم قبلي على

    مثل طه وعلى عيسى المسيح

    The likes of you denied before me

    The like of Taha, Jesus the Messiah

  22. وعلى مثل خليل الله من

    جاء بالحق وإسحق الذبيح

    And the likes of Abraham, the friend of God

    Who came with the truth, and Isaac the sacrifice

  23. ثم زالوا ومضوا في غيهم

    وعن الباطل ذو الحق أزيح

    Then they passed away in their ignorance

    And the truthful was relieved of the false

  24. هكذا الدنيا علينا وعلى

    منكرينا ما عليها مستريح

    Such is the world against us and

    Against those who deny us, no rest upon it
