حبي هو الله كم حير باسمه إسمْ
حروفه الخمس منها للأصابع قسمْ
My Beloved is God—how many a name has His Name bewildered!
Of His five letters, the fingers have their share.
يد تعالت من اللامين لاح الجسمْ
محمد المصطفى عنها هو الطلِّسمْ
A hand rose aloft; from the twin lāms the body appeared.
Muhammad the Chosen One is its talisman.
