إن الوجود الحق بي يتلفظُ

وبكل ما يلقى إليَّ ويلفظُ

Existence of truth speaks through me

And all that comes to me and speaks

والكل فان وهي تقديراته

كالبرق لما في الدجى يتلظظ

All is fleeting, His decrees

Like lightning in the darkness flickers

فالكائنات كلامه عن أمره

ناش له الروح الشريفة ملحظ

The creation, His speech of His will

The noble spirit brought into being for Him to behold

وله كلام ثابت في نفسه

وهو القديم به البرية توعظ

He has eternal speech within Himself

Ancient, with it the lands are admonished

من غاظه أمر فقد جهل الذي

هو حاكم وهناك منه أغيظ

Whoever is vexed by His command is ignorant

Of the Ruler, though by Him more vexed still

والأمر علم الله في ملكوته

والملك جاهله هناك مقيِّظ

The command is God's knowledge in His dominion

The kingdom's ignorant one, He there awakes

فيظل مطموس البصيرة في عمىً

عن رشده شَرِه الدنية لغمظ

So he remains blinded in blindness

From guidance, by base desires of the world obscured

الله أكبر ما أعز إلهنا

وأجله فيما يرق ويغلظ

God is greatest, how mighty our God

And most majestic in all that softens and hardens

متنزه متقدس عن كل ما

تدري العقول وكل فكر يعكظ

Transcendent, sanctified above all

That minds can conceive and thoughts reflect

وهو الذي ظهرت بنا آياته

وتفصلت فبذكره نتلمظ

He who revealed to us His signs

And by His remembrance we are revived

ولكم فتى فتنته صورة حكمه

هو نائم لكنه مستيقظ

To you, then, a youth whose trial is the form of His rule

Though sleeping, he is awake

إن الوجود الحق يظهر دائماً

ما عنده أزلاً كذا هو يحفظ

Existence of truth always appears

Without beginning, so it is preserved
