لَولا الإِلَهُ وَعَبدُهُ وَلَيتُمُ

حينَ اِستَخَفَّ الرُعبُ كُلَّ جَبانِ

Were it not for God and His servant you would have perished

When fear took hold of every coward

بِالجِزعِ إِذ ثَبَتَت لَنا أَفراسُنا

وَسَوابِحٌ يَكبونَ لِلأَذقانِ

With despair, while our steeds stood firm for us

And swords that bend to the skulls

مَن بَينَ ساعٍ ثَوبُهُ في كَفِّهِ

وَمُقَلِّصٍ بِسَنابِكٍ وَلَبانِ

Among those whose clothes are in their grip

And those who cower behind parapets and summits

وَاللَهُ يُؤمِنُ بَعدَ يَومٍ حَسّكُم

لَكُم وَلَم سَنَحتُمُ بِأَمانِ

And God will make you believe after a day of your evil

For you, when you did not seek safety

وَاللَهُ أَكرَمَنا وَأَظهَرَ دينَنا

وَأَعزَّنا بِعبادَةِ الرَحمَنِ

And God has honored us and manifested our religion

And exalted us by worshiping the Merciful

وَاللَهُ أَهلَكَكُم وَفرَّقَ جَمعَكُم

وَأَذَلَّكُم بِعبادَةِ الشَيطانِ

And God destroyed you and scattered your group

And humiliated you by worshiping Satan
