Has my wedding night come, oh cunning fate?
In Wadi Hunayn with swords unsheathed,
My words flow forth when passion stirs my soul,
As I charge ahead though enemies impede.
Like shooting stars my arrows swiftly fly,
As the infidels retreat in panicked speeds.
How could I stop my steed amidst the fray?
With both my hands I strike and enemies bleed.
For seven years we fought for God’s Messenger,
While others fled, we stood firm, refused to cede.
