لعَمركَ ما الديباجَ خَرَّقتَ وَحدَهُ

وَلَكِنَّما خَرَّقتَ جِلدَ المُهَلَّبِ

By your life, you have not torn the silk alone,

But rather, you have torn the skin of the flayed one.
