أَلا هَلَ أَتى غَوثاً وَمازِنَ أَنَّني

حَلَلتُ إِلى البيضِ الطِوالِ السَواعِدِ

Has the aid come, and Mazin, that I

Have arrived at the abode of long-armed women

إِلى الواحِدِ الوَهّابِ قَيسُ بنُ عاصِمِ

لَهُ قادِحاً زِندي سِنانِ بنِ خالِدِ

To the One, the Bestower, Qays son of 'Āṣim

For him a fire-striker, two-edged sword of Sinan son of Khalid
