وَأَحلَلتُكُم مِن لُبنَ داراً وَخَيمَةً

وَكُنتُم بِأَطرافِ القَنانِ بِمَرتَعِ

I gave you shelter made of date milk and tents

And you were grazing at the edges of valleys

فَخَرتُم بِأَشياخٍ أُصيبوا بَخَنعَةٍ

وَتَنسَونَ شُبّاناً أُنيمو بِضلفَعِ

Yet you attacked elders struck with frailty

And forgot the young men sleeping in the wilderness
