وَجارِيَةٍ جَريَ السَفين تَسوقُها
الرياحُ وَلَكن في الهَواءِ غَديرها
And a cloud, coursing as ships course, is driven along
by the winds—yet its pool of water hangs in the sky.
رَأَيتُ بِأَحشاءِ البحورِ سَفينَها
وَتِلكَ سَفينٌ في حَشاها بُحُورُها
I have seen a ship in the innermost depths of seas;
but that is a ship with its seas inside its belly.
