إِنَّ وَجهاً كَالبَدرِ في الإِشراقِ

يُلحِقُ السائِحينَ بِالعُشَّاقِ

A face like the full moon rising

Allures travelers to become lovers

زانَهُ شَينُ غَيرِهِ جُدَرِيٌّ

سِحرُهُ مثلُ سِحرِ تِلكَ المآقي

Its beauty outshines others

Its charm is like that of blooming flowers

فَكأَنَّ الوَجهَ الجَميلَ لآلٍ

مُلصَقَاتٌ بِناصِعِ الأَوراقِ

That beautiful face seems

To be engraved on bright green leaves

وَاِعتَلى في التصاقِها جُدَرِيٌّ

فَاستَبانَت مَواضِعُ الإِلصاقِ

Imprinted so artfully upon them

Revealing the places where they join
