Even if she is compliant with the slanderer

The light between us is blocked by calamities

Indeed days have passed, though the wailing of grief

In excessive longing, I weep every wail

She prohibited us, yet we did not stop loving

I hate to see one feeble or a follower of alteration

    I consoled a frigid soul

From the anguish and agony within her

She wept what she wept, the lamentation of weeping, then forgave

To acknowledge a long estrangement from Nawar

I block both of you, the blockage of shooting

The days have prolonged it and he is slain

And I, at the time of morning prayer, call upon God

With farewell on you, the wing of every noble one extends

And one embracing the pillar of Yemen and complaining

To the west side, my wailing ascended
