Though time may pass, as long as I live

Gray hairs cannot subdue my pleasure

In swift racer horses, fine robes

    Hunting gear and festive joys,

In spirited youths whose lordly faces

Scorn baseness like hawks disdain carrion,

Who when asked for favors, grant them,

And who cannot be caught when they withhold them.
