    سِ مالَكِ عِندَنا ظُلمُ

    No, by the Lord of all mankind!

    Thou shalt not in our dwellings stay.

  4. وَكَيفَ بِظُلمِ جارِيَةٍ

    وَمِنها اللينُ وَالرحمُ

    Can I a gentle maid upbraid?

    Her softness stills my soul's dismay.
