قد كنت ذا كبدٍ اشقى بها ولها

فصرتُ من ولهي ذا خمس اكباد

I used to have a single sorrowful liver

But for my loved ones, I now have five livers

هذي حياتي اهوالٌ اغالبها

لكي افي ام اولادي وأولادي

Such is my life, filled with struggles

So I can fulfill my duty to my children and their children
