وعلى محياكِ الحجا

ب ترين منه ولا أراك

Your cheeks are roses, I see them though you hide,

O sun, did God create you to obscure your light?

يا شمسُ ان اللَه لم

يخلقك كي تخفي سناك

He raised you up that your splendor might shine on me,

None of his works conceal their beauty from my sight.

اعلاك عني كي يفي

ض عليَّ نورك من علاك

Roses wither in the meadow, how then can your cheeks fade?

The gazelle displays her gaze, why then veil your eyes?

ما في خلائقه جمي

لٌ يختفي عني سواك

Dawn opens to the dew, how can you hide your face?

What harm if I behold you and praise your grace?

الوردُ بادٍ في الريا

ض فكيف تمتر وجنتاك

والظبي تعرض مقلتاه

ه فكيف تحجب مقلتاك

والصبح يفتح للندى

فاه فكيف سترت فاك

ماذا يضرك أن أرا

كِ وان اسبح من براك
