1. قم سعدُ تشهد ما دهاها

    البغي منتهكٌ حماها

  6. يا ويحه لما ثنا

    ها بالغدائر وامتطاها

  8. اتموت مصر ولا يلا

    قي الموت اهلوها فداها

  9. قسماً بلبناني وهذا

    من يميني منتهاها

  10. روحي فدى مصرٍ وتسلم

    روحها مما دهاها

  20. سجنوا الخواطر في الضما

    ئر كالقصائر في خباها

  21. ساموا الصحافة ذلةً

    لو سيمها عبدٌ أباها

    They branded the press with humiliation

    If a slave were so branded, he would disown it

  22. ومحمدٌ في دسته

    يقسو ومصرٌ في اساها

    And Muhammad with his hands

    Oppresses, while Egypt beneath him

  23. تبكي صفيتها دماً

    وتذوب مهجة مصطفاها

    Weeps blood for her loved ones

    And melts for the agony of her dear Mustafa

  24. لبنان لا يرضى الحيا

    ة ومصر تدمع مقلتاها

    Lebanon will not accept life

    While Egypt's eyelids shed their tears

  25. ماذا يلاقي اللورد في

    ارضٍ اذا جفت مياها

    What will the Lord find in a land

    Once its waters have dried up?

  26. فالنيل ينضب ماؤه

    ان ذل اهلوه جباها

    The Nile will run dry of water

    If they disgrace its people

  27. قل للفؤادِ مليكها

    ان العيون نفت كراها

    Say to the heart of its queen

    That the eyes have rejected despotism

  28. مهما تطل هذي الليا

    لي فالضحى آتٍ وراها

    No matter how long these nights linger

    The dawn will come after them

  29. والتاج يسلم للذي

    ان روعت مصرٌ حماها

    And the crown will go to the one

    Who protected Egypt if she called for help

  30. واذا بكت لملمةٍ

    هاج البكاء له بكاها

    And if a protected one cried,

    Her crying provoked his crying for her

  31. هيهات يرضى العيش فيها

    من تنكب عن رضاها

    Never can he who shunned her consent live in her
