When my soul bid me farewell as
It bid me farewell on the night of parting, Thuria,
My tears and my cheeks were as if
I had wet them from my pouring tears and my cheeks,
No words from Thuria except what
I heard her eyelids say to my eyelids,
A night passes and after it dawns
My beautiful Darthi in the hands of another,
A night passes and she becomes the wife
Of a stranger who came with money over me,
O you who ask about me after her,
Indeed, the one you ask about is no longer alive,
They killed him when they inclined to Thuria
And threw her in the ground unjustly and ignorantly,
If only they had killed him alone
And woe to them, they had also killed Thuria.
