Reya and Sallama have captivated the monks,
Leaving them no sense or soul.
Neither has enslaved the monks in the monastery,
Nor found unlawful or impure.
Two maidens, one resembles the crescent moon,
While the other resembles the radiant sun.
Two maidens born in auspicious times,
Never knowing disgrace or gloom.
With tender skins, gentle faces
And dyed fingertips ever so soft.
