Her two languid eyes have captivated me,
Brimful with coquetry, clearly manifest.
Of no avail is the lengthy stay with her tribe,
Nor the malady with which she has tasked me.
I stay awake as if each last night
Of the meadows were my final eve.
No, by Dahma's life, she did not lose her priceless status
Among her people, though the flint kindles the spark.
So if Sulayma asks about me, then say to her:
On him is a stain from his sickness, but he is well.
