  2. صحوٌ وغَيم في سماءٍ أصبحت

    وكأنّها بهما غراب أبقع

    Awake and cloudy is the sky that dawned

    As if spotted by them a raven

  3. يوم كأنّ الريح في أرجائِهِ

    لُحُفٌ مشقَّة تمرّ وترجِع

    A day as if the wind in its expanse

    Is sheets being passed and returned

  4. فاطرَبْ فذا وجهُ الرِّياضِ مرصَّعٌ

    واشرب فذا ثوبُ السماءِ مجزّعِ

    So enjoy, for this is the embellished face of the garden

    And drink, for this is the ornamented garment of the sky
