He is surprised at my patience with

    The great troubles I encounter

He says, why don't you complain? I said, when does

The blade complain of being sharpened?

A man who complains to one who cannot help

And shares what is in his soul with fools

My troubles have stopped me complaining to people

Since I am sick, and who can I complain to?

    Knowing everything before I speak

    Stops me complaining to God

I will stay silent with patience and acceptance

For I see patience as an unbroken sword
