Upon the auspicious bird and the rising fortune,
You shed the blood of the Commander of the Faithful with the sword.
The stars aligned in your favor and bent down,
Bringing misfortune without fortune to all who opposed you.
That blood was no harm, rather
It was the perfume of your hands that dripped from that blade.
You will remain forever the master,
And were it not for my fear of the envious eye, I would proclaim you immortal.
