1. ألبسَني حُسْنك يا حُسْنه

    ما لم يَخَلْ وهمٌ ولا ظنُّ

    Clothe me in your beauty, O beauty

    What has not been empty imagining and speculation

  2. أُعطِيتُ ما لَم تَرَه مُقْلَةٌ

    مِنك وما لَمْ تَسمعِ الأُذْنُ

    I have been granted what no glance has seen

    Of you, and what no ear has heard

  3. أَقَلُّ ما خُوِّلْتُه أنّني

    يَعبُد وجهِي الإِنسُ والجِنُّ

    The least I have been endowed with is that

    Human and jinn worship my face

  4. لو حملَتْني مُقْلةٌ لم يكن

    يَألَمُ مِنْ حَمْلي لها جَفْنُ

    If an eyelash were to carry me

    My being carried would not pain its eyelid
