Drink upon the rose of the cheeks,
And the beauty of pomegranate breasts,
Until when the wine
Bends with the softness of rod-like wrists,
Then heal your heart with her
Who extinguishes the heat of sorrow,
And sip the folds of her poetry,
More subtle than the poetry of necklaces,
And delight in the union of a slender one
Who mixes affection with aloofness.
