O moon attributed to mankind
Do not shy away from the eye of the beholder
Do not veil your radiance from the eyes of onlookers
Neither this forehead, nor the darkness of that hair
She said, I guard the uniqueness of beauty, I told her
Beauty is never diminished by frequent looking
The full moon did not unveil a sick eye
As you unveiled, nor a smiling waist
They compared it to half of a twisted bracelet
And to the anklet formed from the fingernail
You are not comparable to what they compared it to
Far be it from you to be compared to fingernails and others
A place where you shine becomes brighter
Than the illumination of the place of sun and moon
