I embraced her on the day of parting, while her tears
Flowed down, and her heart pounded.
Her tongue was silent, but for love,
In the tears of her eyelids there was a mouth and tongue.
Until when the pain of farewell burned
Our livers with its flames,
The houses of the tribe appeared with their veils.
Then it bent away under the swaying litters.
And they poured the water of their eyes, so it flowed on
Those cheeks, as if it were 'Aqyan.
