اشِرَبْ على ضوءِ نهارٍ بدا

فمزّق الليل وأبدى السعودْ

Drink in the glow of dawning light unveiled,

Tearing night's veil, the dawn its charm exhaled,

كأنّه في نوره لابسٌ

نورَ الثنايا واحمرارَ الخدود

As though clothed in its light, vividly bright,

Cheeks blushing red, folded robes light pale.
