Turn the goblet of wine, and leave my troubles,
Below you, make them drink, and quench my friends,
For today is a day of dew and longness,
And a day of life, leisure, and pouring,
As if the clouds had a beloved,
Who came weeping with overflowing eyelids,
The breeze was dripping with rosewater,
And drew on the air a gown of clouds,
If you saw it flowing and sprinkling,
You would dance from joy and wonder,
As if the sun within it was a bashful bride,
Being led to it in a dress of drinking.
