تأملتُ الكتابَ فكان فيه

مواقِعُ سَهْوِ ما خَطَّتْ يداكا

I examined the book and found in it

Places of lapse from what your hand had inscribed

فاصلحناه كي يُضْحِي صَحيحاً

ويَنْسِبُ قارئوه إليك ذاكا

So we corrected it that it may become sound

And its readers attribute it to you
