هاكَ الكَمِيَّ وَهاكَها اَفراسَهُ

ذُولُونُ لَم يَكُ مائِناً مُتَكَذِّبا

Whose necks bent, they were not denying witnesses

So evil is your evil, make peace for you are armed

فالبَأسُ بَأسُكَ صُل فأَنتَ مُدَجَّج

اَوَ شَأنُنا ذا اليَومَ أَن نَتَنَكَّبا

Or our situation today is that we turn away

Unleash the steeds, and if you wish I shall unleash them

حُلَّ الجِيادَ وإن تَشَأ فأَحُلُّها

وَاضرِب بأَعناقِ الرِّجالِ مقُضِّبا

And strike the necks of men with force
