My eloquent friend Achilles, you who

Spoke of the lords, leave these paths

For you will never deceive me, even though

I restrain myself, not led by your words

I want back my captive and my arrow’s course

While your arrow was victorious in your mind

Yes, I would be content if you guaranteed our secrets

For that, I deserve a reward like that

Otherwise, leave me to resist by force

With the gold of Ajax or Odysseus or yours

There I will pitch my tent by myself

And whoever comes to me will be enraged there

We will search and cast immediately here in

A raven lost in the sea's fog

We will see him with the shields and victims

And the beautiful one above the waves traveling

    Maybe with humility and victims

We will avert destruction for the lord of nobility
