Achilles said: "Ajax, I see you
Have truly lost your wits from grief's abyss
Yet I've not forgotten my beloved friend
Though like a stranger I'm forbidden hence
Whene'er his memory stirs my thoughts, my heart
Is seared with pain and sorrow fills my chest
So go and tell them I will never flee
My tent before these braggarts can appease
For here I'll meet Priam's son no matter what
Though he may charge ferociously to spill my blood
After the Trojans perish slaughtered
And all their ships are set aflame consumed
