عقدوا الشعور معاقد التيجانِ

وتجنَّدوا بالحسن والإحسانِ

They tied the feelings with crown ties

And dressed in beauty and benevolence

وتبرجوا عوض التخوت صوافناً

وتقلدوا بصوارم الأجفان

And flirted instead of arrogance, gentle

And wore the swords of eyelids

وسعوا وقد هزوا رماح قدودهم

سبَوُا النهى وعفوا عن الأبدان

And they rode shaking their lances

Abandoning prohibition and pardoning bodies

تركوا الغرام يهز أرباب الهوى

هز الكماةِ أعالي المُرّان

They left love to shake the people of passion

It shook the perfection of the flexible ones

وتدرَّعوا زرداً فخلت أراقماً

لما دنت لعدوها الإنساني

And they wore armor, so it was vacant tags

When her human enemies approached

وتخوفت من أن تصاد بشكلها

خلعت ملابسها على الغزلان

And she was afraid that her form would be blocked

She took off her clothes for the deer
