أمولاي إن الناس من كل أمةٍ

يقولون خيري معدن الجود والخير

My Master, people from every nation

Say that my origin is generosity and virtue,

واقسم بالرحمن أنك خير من

يجير من البلوى ويغني عن الغير

And I swear by the Merciful that you are the best one

To shelter from affliction and enrich the destitute,

كأن إله العرش قال لخلقه

دعوا كل شيءٍ جانباً واقصدوا خيري

As if the God of the Throne said to His creation

Leave everything aside and head for my virtue.
