يقبل العبد من أعتاب مولانا

سماء مجدٍ حوت حسناً وإحسانا

The servant kisses the threshold of our Master

A sky of glory that contained beauty and benevolence

فما يقبلها عبد يقابلها

إلّا وصارت له الأحرار عبدانا

No servant kisses it unless he becomes

To the free men two slaves

دار الصفا والوفا عبدين ما برحت

للُّطف والظرف والمعروف رضوانا

The home of purity and loyalty, O my two servants, you have not left

For kindness, etiquette and good deed, satisfaction

يقدم الوفد فيها الحمد منتظماً

نظم الجمان لمولاها ومولانا

The delegation offers organized praise therein

Organizing the essence for its Master and our Master

لكوكب الشرق عباس الذي بهر ال

باري به الغرب إذ سوّاه إنسانا

The star of the East is Abbas who dazzled the

Creator by him the West when He made him a human

وغادر الدهر منقاداً لطاعته

حتى يدوم مطاعاً حيثما كانا

And time left obedient to his obedience

So that he remains obeyed wherever they were

بعدوة منك يا حامي الذمار لها

عاد الصفا باسماً والأمنُ جذلانا

With a step from you, O protector of the helpless, it

The essence has returned to a name and security to submission

وأقبل الفوز مسروراً وبشَّ لنا ال

إقبال وازدارنا من كان جافانا

And success came happily and it announced good news to us

Coming and we stayed away from whoever was rude

ربِّ ابقِه حكماً براً بأمته

واثلث بطلعته بوصى وكيوانا

O Lord, keep him as a just wise ruler for his nation

And third, by his omen, successor and sustainer

واحفظ وزد آله عزّاً ودولته

مجداً وأربابها أمناً وإيمانا

And protect and increase the honor of his family and his rule

Glory, and their lords safety and faith

ليهتف الأمن قد نام القطا ثملاً

لما رأى رب مصر الشهم يقظانا

So that security may sleep heavily

When he saw the lord of Egypt vigilant

يا كوكب المجد قد أترعتني شرفاً

ولم أجد درراً تجزي وعقيانا

O star of glory, you have honored me

And I could not find pearls to reward and pay back

إلّا الثناء فإن ترضى به بدلاً

سامت به مدحي الحسناء حسّانا

Except praise, so if you accept it instead

My praise raised the graceful sincere

فأنت أنت الذي من شام طلعته

سالت قريحته نوراً وتبيانا

You are the one from Damascus whose rising

His talent poured light and elocution

وأنت أنت المنى حيّيت من حكمٍ

باهت بحكمته الأبرار لقمانا

And you are the purpose who revived from a wisdom

The righteous admired his wisdom like Luqman
