  1. تبارك اللَه الذي كملك

    يا من لأملاك المعالي ملكْ

    Blessed is Allah, who has given you sovereignty

    O you who rule over the kingdoms of glory

  2. وقبح اللَه عذولي الذي

    يعذلني فيك كما جملك

    May Allah curse the one who impeaches me

    Who impeaches me in you, as beautiful as you are

  3. ما ضر يا غصن نسيم الصبا

    لو مال بي نحوك أو ميَّلك

    It does no harm, O branch, breeze of the dawn

    If it leaned towards me or inclined you

  4. وما الذي يؤذيك يا بدر لو

    جعلت داري ساعةً منزلك

    And what could hurt you, O full moon, if

    I made my home your dwelling for an hour
