    woman who adorns brides, joyfully speckled;

  2. and the blossoms resemble, as they

    fall upon it, the gold of gifts.

  3. Among them is the bashful

    bride; merriment sways her sides.

  4. Then bid the guileless one make

    the gold dust turn within the goblet’s diamond;

  5. and permit breakfast to be

    brought—for one like you freely grants it.

  6. And indulge the uninvited guest who,

    when he beheld the scene—the boor—made this plea.
