فيعرب ردفها عن ربوتين

With a Damietta boat sailing our longing

Its stern expressing my rapture

يشف لثامها عن نور شمسٍ

ويسفر صدرها عن فرقدين

Its veil revealing sunlight

And its deck unveiling my two eyelids
