Samir Al-Ma'ali and the son of his ancestor are kind
For your justice, the kind complain to the tears of the sea
Respond to my hope and send a writer to Ajlun
Except what I desire, even if they spill
Did a praising, grateful servant sin
That you would distance him from your face to the barren land?
Your glory has spread over my dwellings
Since your rising places turned away from me
And my fear and pouring tears remained
As the sparrow trembled from its wet feathers
I dwell at night with beasts, as beasts
And the ugliest of images when dawn breaks
If you are not pleased with my distance from villages
That have become to me like a heart left by its chest
Then be a support after me for my son's comfort
Ajlun the wicked is to me a grave
