You have raised the banner of truth, justice backs your hand,
So the path of injustice is blocked, and justice rejoices.
And from you, God's creation is extended with people,
Who stop the hand of Hermes, angered by injustice.
O you, descendant of the greatest rulers,
Whose greatness and decisive word were shown to you.
O you, a rain of your Lord's mercy,
Which flows without lack or stinginess.
Your patience tames the ferocious lions,
And your presence comforts the birds startled by arrows.
You are like a soul, and the land a body,
Its people lost, and you their mind.
The slanderers claimed you are unjust,
Yet the lamb is not prey to the wolf in your presence.
Let those of insight look at the state of their country,
And judge without fabricated tales.
They see you give rights to those who own them,
With the most just balance, above distortion.
You are a sword of God, whose hands
Hold all bonds and separation.
Let the king of Russia know our rights are with you,
The rights of Muslims, even if they fight you.
With you, the blood of the protected ones is spared,
As the Creator ordered, and the messengers ruled.
Your food is permitted to us, and ours to you,
Upon us is what is upon you, without excess.
Blessed are you, content with what your Lord gave you,
You pardon lands, though most have transgressed.
Your enemy is weak, your might witnessed,
Your sword God's, with nothing equal.
How can the cunning Turks defeat it,
Or the roaring lion subdue the fox?
The bat has spoken, and the echo judged,
The deer challenged the towering camels.
The timid hyena became brave,
And its spiders hurried the horses.
The transgressor weakens when he calls for havoc,
For he finds none obey his messages.
You repel the arrows of slander aimed at you,
With your arrowheads breaking their arrowheads.
You called to God's religion with a true call,
Defending the upright faith, never relenting.
So there came to you faces white as moons,
Their swords red, and their eyes sleepy.
Your enemies were horror-struck in battle,
Spears and swords plunging into them.
Their blood on their chests was like
Scarlet wine, ants floating on it.
Napoleon saw your deeds against them,
So he sent you soldiers of his own.
Victoria launched her unsinkable ships for you,
Their decks stacked with brave soldiers.
May Napoleon, lion of his time, endure,
And his neighbor Victoria, honor's celebration.
And may you, Commander of the Faithful, stay supported,
The world protected through you, and your people proud.
Your sword makes the reproach of the sword a lover,
And reproach enters not the lovers' ears.
For your sword, the enemy is fire, and their souls tow,
For your rule, the nations are homes, and booty gained.
