بجُودِه تغرق الآمالُ حين تَرَى

مَوْجَ النَّدى سال في النَّادِي لِمن سَأَلاَ

With his generosity hopes drown when you see

The wave of dew flowing in the club for those who asked

له مَوائِدُ إحْسانٍ إذَا بُسِطتْ

تدْعُو الثناءَ إليها دَعْوة الْجَفَلَى

For him are tables of kindness which when laid out

Call praise to them like the call of the hungry
