والطل كَسا عَرَائِسَ البُسْتانِ
حَلْيَ النَّسَقِ
And the dew arrayed the garden’s brides
in ornaments strung in ordered strands;
وَالرّيحُ ثَنَى قَوَامَ عطفِ البَانِ
للمُعْتَنِقِ
and the wind bent the graceful bough of the bān tree
toward the one who would embrace it.
