فِي حانةِ الروضْ الحَمَامْ قَيْنَاتْ

والدوحْ خَمَّارْ وَالأوَانِي اليَاسْمِينْ

In the tavern of the rose garden are doves

And jars of wine and jasmine drinking cups,

والنهرْ سَاقِي وَالبَلاَبِلْ نُدْمَانْ

والطلّ قَهْوَهْ وَالكُؤوسْ النّسْرِينْ

The river is the pourer and nightingales the boon companions,

The rising sun makes coffee and crystal beakers appear,

والقُضْب تَشربْ والسواقِي تسْقِي

والوردْ حَضْرَه والمْطَيِّبْ مَرْسِينْ

The bamboo pipe is sipped and water pipes are passed around,

Rose petals are present and perfume fills the air.
