1. بِنْتُ السَّحَابِ زُوّجَتْ

    بِنْتَ الدّنَانِ الكَاعِبِ

    The daughter of the clouds was wed

    To the boastful son of thunder,

  2. بِنْتُ الرَّبَاحِ تُوّجَتْ

    بِابْنِ السَّحَابِ السَّائِبِ

    The daughter of the winds was crowned

    With the rain clouds' weeping son.

  3. مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أمْهَرَهَا

    جَوَارِيَ السَّحَائِبِ

    After dowries of maidens fair

    From the clouds were offered her,

  4. فَأنْعِشِ الأرْوَاحْ

    بِالرَّاحْ

    Revive the souls with the winds so they can see

    The morning light that now shines bright and free.

  5. فَضِيَا الإصْبَاحْ

    قَدْ لاَحْ
