1. نار شوقي وهول يوم بعادي

    شيّبا في الهوى رضيع فؤادي

    The fire of my passion and the horror of our separation

    Have grayed, while still a child, my ardent heart

  2. إنّ يوم البعاد يوم طويل

    قصر الله عمر يوم البعاد

    Indeed the day of separation is a long day

    May God shorten the length of the day of separation

  3. فريا رائد الهنا فبقلبي

    لفحت حرب داحس الأنكاد

    My guide Cupid kindled a raging battle in my heart

    With the spears of Dahis, who pierced my soul

  4. أقطع الليل والنهار كئيبا

    بين شوق مبرح وسهاد

    I spend the night and day sorrowful

    Between desire that brings joy and sleep that brings rest

  5. فسروري وسلوتي في انتقاض

    وغرامي ووشحتي في ازدياد

    My happiness and solace are in rising up

    While my love and yearning ever grow

  6. لست أدري وقد جرت سحب دمعي

    ما الذي شاب مزنها بمرادي

    I know not why, though tears course down my cheeks

    What has turned their pure flow turbid against my will

  7. غير أني أخال إنسان عيني

    جاد إذ شح دمعه لسوادي

    Except that I imagine my beloved's eyes

    Were moved to weep in pity for my darkness

  8. علّ ماء الدموع تطفىء نارا

    تحرق القلب أو يروي الصادي

    May the waters of tears extinguish the fire

    That burns my heart or revive the one pining away

  9. يا عذولي في الحب لست رشيدا

    لا ولا العذل في الهوى بالهادي

    My people, I have lit within the quarters a fire

    With flames that consume the innermost hearts

  10. ليس حبي حرمته بفساد

    رب حب فيه صلاح فساد

    Perhaps I will find guidance in its light

    Or time will undo my fetters

  11. لا تلمني فلست أول حب

    صار عبدا في طاعة الأسياد

    I am weary, finding no way to salvation,

    No path to certainty or fortune

  12. إن نومي وحسن صبري فرا

    إذ رويت الجوى عن ابن زياد

    Bear to the dwellings, gentle breeze, my ardent love

    For the country I ransom with my soul

  13. ليت شعري وهل لشعري علم

    بفؤاد بهيم في كل وادي

    And spur me on to journey at dawn, and bear my soul

    Between auspicious travel and guidance

  14. يا فؤادي في تيه فرع وفرق

    أبغي ضللت أم برشاد

    And when you come to blissful Medina

    Give greetings of peace to the guiding Prophet

  15. أم بليلي فتة أم برباب

    أم بسلمى شغفت أم بسعاد

    Ahmad, the noblest of messengers, pillar of the House of Glory

    Paragon of faith, Kaaba of worship

  16. يا خليلي عللاني سحيرا

    بنسيمات حاجر والواد

    Manifestor of Truth, Manifestor of Truth, pure Taha

    Warrant of God, sun of the horizon of Eternity

  17. وقفاني على الربوع قليلا

    واطرحاني في ظل ذاك النادي

    Cause of existence, spirit of the body of glory

    Point of beginning, secret of the meaning of Eternity

  18. وابكياني فقد بكى لبكائي

    باسم البرق بالغيوم الغوادي

    Gazer of the eye, blossom of the garden of Life

    Subtlety of hearing, branch of the Tuba tree of the heart

  19. واسعداني على السهاد فليلي

    طال والله إذ حرمت رقادي

    Smooth of cheek, languid of eye, melodious of voice

    Vast of chest, repose of hands

  20. واخبراني عن الصباح فسعى

    ضل فيه ولم يجد من هادي

    Essence of Beauty, seal of cleansing

    Source of Glory, lion of grandeurs

  21. طال ليلي وقد فقدت صباحي

    آه هل للصباح من ميعاد

    Garden of Generosity, gathering of Virtue has come to be

    The ultimate goal, masterpiece of the magnanimous

  22. لو يكون الصباح حيا يرجى

    ما اكتسى الجو سابغات حداد

    The Messenger who intercedes, brings good tidings and warnings

    Farthest extent of moderation, limit of intents

  23. يا نسيم الشمال سر بسلام

    كم ليمناك عندنا من أيادي

    Chosen One, Content One, Lamp giving Light

    New moon of guidance, star of guidance

  24. واسأل البان والحمى عن حبيب

    حل من مهجتي محل ودادي

    Most Perfect of beings in nature and character

    He fills all eyes and hearts

  25. يا رعى الله عهده من حبيب

    شأنه الصدق في وفا الميعاد

    God created him before all existence

    With a perfection, honor, and guidance unmatched

  26. فوق خديه جنة وجحيم

    كيف يؤخذ ملتقى الصداد

    Pure in body before the clay was created

    Unlike all bodies formed of clay

  27. لاح في ليل شعره وعجيب

    مطلع الشمس في الليالي الحداد

    He is the origin, not born in the beginning

    And the branch, by virtue of lineage

  28. وتجلى فمن رأى روض حسن

    أثمر البدر في القنا المياد

    Whoever is illumined by the light of his beauty openly manifested

    Will see truth however it wishes, without a how

  29. نجم خديه في المطالع يروي

    عن جميل السنا عن الوقاد

    To him came Idris, attaining the most high station

    Most flourishing, of lofty pillar

  30. وكذا ريقه المبرد أبدى

    كامل الحسين في سناه البادي

    Through him was Noah safeguarded in the ark

    When the torrent engulfed the hills and valleys

  31. ياله شادنا سطا بجفون

    كن فيها كواسر الأساد

    Through him was Salih saved from Thamud

    And Hud from the tribes of Ad

  32. ساحر اللحظ هاجني بفتور

    ترك القلب موريا كالزناد

    Through him Lot destroyed Sodom

    Where they pursued the path of unbelief

  33. يا هلالا أظل عابد طرف

    إنما أنت فتنة العباد

    Through him the Friend was rescued and fulfilled

    The evil scheme of the obstinate Nimrod

  34. فتنة الحسن قيس خدك أضحى

    من يمان الجفون تحت العباد

    Through him the Protected One ransomed Ismail

    And chose him to dwell in the valley

  35. إتّق الله في أسير عيون

    ما له من عذابها من فادي

    Through him came Isaac the ardent, and Jacob

    And the Tribes, graced with guidance

  36. وأكفف اللحظ والعذار فعقلي

    منهما صار نهب لام وصادي

    Through him the Divine subjugated ropes and birds and valleys for Solomon

    And the jinn, beasts, winds and streams

  37. ما احتيالي وقد ظمئت لثغر

    صير الصد شرعة الوراد

    Through him the whale conveyed Jonah

    When he pleaded, regretting and striving

  38. يا لقومي آنست في الحيّ نارا

    أضرمتها لواعج الأكباد

    Through him the Divine saved Shuaib

    And healed Job of the trial of woes

  39. فلعلي أرى هداي لديها

    أو عسى الدهر أن يفكّ قيادي

    Through him the Spoke One was saved

    From the guile of Pharaoh, lord of pegs

  40. ضقت ذرعا وما وجدت اهتداء

    لسبيل يقين بالإسعاد

    Through him came the Green Man and Al-Aziz

    Elias and John, averting the evil of foes

  41. بلغي يا نسمية البان شوقي

    لبلاد فديتها من بلاد

    Through him came Alexander, who guided

    The world and opened cities

  42. واحثثي للسير في الغدو وروحي

    بين يمنى مسيرة ورشاد

    Through him Jesus brought tidings and was greeted

    While still a babe in the cradle, calling greetings of peace

  43. وإذا جئت طيبة فتهادى

    بسلام إلى النبي الهادي

    Through him the son of the palm-fiber weaver was promised

    As well as the She-Camel and the people of the thicket

  44. أحمد الرسل ركن بيت المعالي

    سرحة الدين كعبة العباد

    Through him came the glad tidings, the revelations

    That the Chosen was born, generous of hands

  45. مظهر الحق مظهر الحق طه

    حجة الرب شمس أفق المعاد

    To his mother the signs of Busra were shown

    And the palaces of Damascus at his birth

  46. علة الكون روح جسم المعالي

    نقطة البدء سر معنى المعاد

    For love of him Halima sought fertility

    After dwelling in bare desert

  47. ناظر العين زهر روض المحيا

    نكتة السمع غصن دوح الفؤاد

    For him Kisra's palace fell to ruins

    And the lofty columns collapsed

  48. أشبب الثغر أدعج العين أقنى

    رحب الصدر أريحي الأيادي

    By his light he dispelled the darkness

    After it had covered each guide and straying

  49. جوهري الحسن برهمان التصافي

    معدن المجد عسجد الأمجاد

    Through him the water of Saawa turned to fire

    When the steeds of Persia became like ashes

  50. روضة الجود مجمع الفضل أضحى

    غاية الشم تحفة الأجواد

    Through him the meteors burned every fortress

    From which disbelief was being proclaimed

  51. مرسل شافع بشير نذير

    منتهى القصد غاية القصاد

    The wolf became his informant about him

    When the shepherd denied the sheep from him

  52. مصطفى مرتضى سراج منير

    هاله الرشد كوكب الإرشاد

    The camel came to him finding comfort

    Though before the fiercest of beasts

  53. أكمل العالمين خلقا وخلقا

    فهو ملء العيون والأكباد

    The gazelle was returned to him

    When she tried to suckle another’s young

  54. صاغه الله قبل كل وجود

    من جمال وعزة ورشاد

    He called her back from sunset, and that sufficed

    Saving her from the snare of the hunter

  55. طاب جسما ولم وقد صيغ مما

    لم تصغ منه طينة الأجساد

    A cloud shaded him from the hot wind

    And blessed him with pouring rain

  56. فهو أصل لادم في ابتداء

    وهو فرع بمقتضى الميلاد

    For him the moon split in yearning to be near

    For him the tree trunk moaned in fear of separation

  57. من أضا نوره بواضح شيت

    فتبدّى لحاضر ولبادي

    The star of his cheek revives at dawn

    Telling of his beauty, of his ardor

  58. من به إدريس قد تبوأ مرقى

    أزهريّ السنا رفيع عماد

    His cooling saliva expresses the perfection

    Of his beauty, his brilliance shining forth

  59. من به نوح في السفينة عوفي

    إذ طمى لما على الربا والوهاد

    With a handful of pebbles he brought down an army

    Unafraid of the might of lions

  60. من به صالح نجا من ثمود

    وكذا هود من قبائل عاد

    With them he erected minarets and dwellings

    Whose strong pillars collapsed in seeking support

  61. من به لوط قد أباد سدوما

    حيث رواموا طريقه الإلحاد

    A thousand were satisfied by one saa, and sated

    By a little milk, freely flowing

  62. من به أنقذ الخليل ووفى

    كيد نمروده الشديد العادي

    The infant affirmed his truth, calling out

    You are indeed the Messenger of the Lord of Worshippers

  63. من به قد فدى المهيمن إسما

    عيل واختاره لسكنى الوادي

    His arm warned him though still a suckling babe

    Beware the poison, O best of the generous

  64. من به اسحاق الغيور ويعقو

    ب ولسباط أتحفوا بأيادي

    He healed the eye, it bowed to him, and enriched

    The day it met him and the day it fought him

  65. من به سخر الإلاه لداو

    د حبالا وطيرا وغوادي

    The dove protected him in the cave

    When the spider wove its web according to God's decree

  66. من به الجن والوحوش أنابت

    لسليمان والصبا والهوادي

    He invoked blessing on the tree trunk, so it inclined

    Yearning and longing for the voice of the caller

  67. من به يونس نجا حين ناجى

    باعتراف وفاقة واجتهاد

    To him came Qatadah complaining of blindness

    So he restored his eye as a gift

  68. من به أنقذ الإلاه شعيبا

    وشفى أيوب من ضنى الأنكاد

    With a gaze that granted him fortune

    With a spit he healed the eye-covering of Ali

  69. من به أصبح الكليم موقى

    كيد فرعون صاحب الأوتاد

    And gifted him immense bliss

    With a breath he restored the cloven head of Khabbab

  70. من به الخضر والعزيز إليا

    س ويحيى اكتفوا شرور الأعادي

    With a spit he repelled the enemies' hands

    God protected him from the evil of Gawratha

  71. من به إسكندر الزمان تصدى

    لرشاد الورى وفتح البلاد

    When he tried to extinguish his shining light

    The winds escorted him the journey of a month

  72. من به بشر المسيح وحيا

    وهو في المهد بالسلام ينادي

    In victory destroying the party of enemies

    For him the earth is a mosque and pure

  73. من به بشر ابن جدل وشق

    وسطيح الحمى وقش أيادي

    Wherever the call to prayer is proclaimed

    He is the star of its beauty, nothing strange

  74. من توالت بشرى الهواتف أن قد

    ولد المصطفى الكريم الأيادي

    That blossoms adorn the tender branches

    Gabriel split his heart and filled it

  75. من رأت أمه معالم بصراي

    وقصور الشام في الميلاد

    With the wisdom of the Knowing, Guiding God

    Thus, if his eyes briefly sleep

  76. من حبا بالحبا حليمة لما

    رامت الخصب بعد محل البوادي

    His heart is awake, pleased with the Generous

    His resting-places were honored in tribulations

  77. من تداعى إيوان كسرى وخرّت

    لسناه شوامخ الأطواد

    When clouds loomed black, portending evil

    In the thick of clamor and raging fury

  78. من أزاح الظلام نور هداه

    بعد ما ظل كل هاد وحاد

    The atmosphere took on the redness of lightning

    The darkness of night only lifted so

  79. من به غيض ماء ساوة لما

    أصبحت نار فارس كالرماد

    The stars' light re-ignited in devotion

    If the philosopher saw the star of his ascent

  80. من به الشهب أحرقت كل حن

    يسرق السمع مؤذن بالفساد

    He would not claim stars can be snared

    Or the rain knew his bounty to the destitute

  81. من غدا الذئب مخبرا عنه لما

    منع الشاة منه راعي النادي

    It would not hesitate to pour over deserts

    Or the sun borrowed a ray from his brilliance

  82. من أتاه البعير يأنس بشرا

    بعدما كان أشرس الشراد

    It would illuminate the cosmos in deepest darkness

    Lord, expand his trace with generosity

  83. من حمى الضب إذ شكا بأمان

    وحماه من العدو العادي

    By which the earth trembles and quakes

    And see his awesome sermons with sword

  84. من أعيدت له الغزالة لما

    إن أرادت رضاعة الأولاد

    White of face, true to promise

    On a day of battle, radiant

  85. من دعاها من الغروب فعادت

    وكفاها حبائل الصياد

    Beneath a night with a piercing crescent

    That Thursday he protected

  86. من وقاه الغمام حر هجير

    وحباه بوابل مستجاد

    So his day surpassed all feasts

    With Abu Bakr the Caliph, who believed him,

  87. من له البدر شق شوقا لقرب

    وله الجذع حن خوف البعاد

    The truthful book's guide

    And Abu Hafs the Discerner, resolute,

  88. من أعاد القضب في الكف سيفا

    وبها أنبع الزلال لصادي

    With conviction and sturdy faith

    And Uthman whom the Messenger gifted

  89. من بيمناه سبح الصلد جهرا

    وبها فاض فاضل الأزواد

    His two daughters, the intercessor on the day of pleading

    And the husband of the maiden, lion of Hisham

  90. من رمى بالحصى فأسقط جيشا

    لا يخافون سطوة الآساد

    The sword, the banners, the steed

    And his uncle and companions and progeny

  91. من بها شاد أوجها وبيوتا

    قد تداعى أقواؤها للسناد

    And wives, then children

    They are what they are, are they ought but

  92. من كفى الألف بالصواع وأروى

    بقليل الحليب سار وغادي

    The striking eyes of war, staunchest of heroes

    Fearing no horrors with God, neither heeding

  93. من به صدق الرضيع ونادى

    أنت حقا رسول رب العباد

    Any but the Generous

    They supported His religion and strengthened His sanctuary

  94. من دعاه الذراع وهو حنيذ

    أحذر السم يا سما الأجواد

    With the swords of youths and reddened spears

    They kept His covenant and exalted His supremacy

  95. من شفى العين وامتطاهه وأغنى

    يوم سلم بها ويوم جلاد

    Guarded His word and foiled enemies

    Willingly striving for the Garden of Eden

  96. من حمى الغار بالحمامة لما

    نسج العنكبوت وفق المراد

    With souls sold on the day of strife

    Manifesting the religion with polished swords

  97. من دعا للعدق فاستجاب منيبا

    واشتياقا لغدة المنادي

    Vanquishing polytheism with ready blades

    God ennobled them and protected them

  98. من أتاه قتادة يشتكى

    فقد عين فردها لمعاد

    And honored them with success and aid

    They spoke the word of truth and righteous deeds

  99. من بنفث شفى لحاظ علي

    وحباه بأيّما إسعاد

    By adhering sincerely to litanies and rites

    O their bliss, give glad tidings, wherever they are

  100. من بتفل أعاد شق خبيب

    وبنفث كفى كف الأعادي

    The stars of faith, the chosen of the generous

    Call them to guidance with the definitive Scripture

  101. من كفاه الإله غورث لما

    رام إطفاء نوره الوقاد

    That makes the complex easy to follow

    Fill the hearing with His signs, its halts and motions

  102. من حبته الصبا مسيرة شهر

    بانتصار يبيد حزب التعادي

    As vocalized by Revelation in recital

    You will find rain in the heaven of glory

  103. من له الأرض مسجدا وطهورا

    حيث نادى إلى الصلاة المنادي

    And see the lion in the stoutest steeds

    With might and vision he faced war and banner

  104. من رقى للعلا فحل محلا

    جل مقداره عن الأنداد

    Then fortune came with fortune and aid

    Struggle granted him openings and victory

  105. من رأى الحق كيف شاء بلا كيف

    ونودي أهلا بزين العباد

    Subduing the nose of every obstinate one

    His knowledge encompassed both worlds, and his forbearance

  106. أنت عبدي فاشفع تشفع وقل كي

    أستمعه وسل تجد إندادي

    He is rain of bounty and sea of plenty

    The dawn of his favor realized hopes

  107. كم ظلام أزاحه وضلال

    كم صباح أناره ورشاد

    Surely it is the dawn in ascent and ignition

    The inverted planets are cautious of his might

  108. كم سؤال أجابه ونوال

    كم مراد أناله وداد

    Laying low the necks of tyrants

    God placed in him a wondrous mystery

  109. كم ذليل أعزّه بارتقاء

    كم عماد أماله باعتماد

    Revealed in the cosmos of opposites

    Astonishing in humility and omnipotence

  110. كم سقام شفى بتفل بصاق

    كم مقام كفى بطعن صعاد

    In modesty, resolve and justice

    O Messenger, we came to his guidance

  111. كم ضرير شفى فساد بصيرا

    كم بصير عمى لفرط عناد

    So we came from misguidance to the guide

    God forbid he have any likeness

  112. كم طريد أوى بوسع محل

    كم فقير أغنى بفاضل زاد

    O Imam of ascent, best of worshippers

    Astray is one who tries to limit what is in you

  113. لو تذكرت ما يحد ويمضي

    لم تعظم فعل المواضي الحداد

    By counting and numbers

    Can the heavens and earth be contained as a measure?

  114. أو تأمّلت ما ينيل ويكفي

    لم تعرج على السوار الغوادي

    Or the seas filled to capacity by supplies?

    Or the sands counted and the drops enumerated

  115. شرف الله بلدة حل فيها

    واصطفاها على جميع البلاد

    By counting each generous act?

    God forbid! The matter is momentous

  116. هو زين لها وليس ببدع

    أن يزين الرياض صوب العهاد

    Not confined to thousands or individuals

    You stood by the truth while people sat

  117. شقّ جبريل قلبه وحشاه

    حكمة العالم العليم الهادي

    And repelled obstinacy on the day of gathering

    Polytheism knew your might when it raved

  118. فلذا كان إن غفت مقلتاه

    يقظ القلب في رضا الجواد

    And dreams opposed your guidance

    The jinn were captivated praising you

  119. كرمت راحتاه في أزمات

    كان فيها الغمام صفر الأيادي

    Till mankind was thrilled by that ecstatic voice

    For you I have evident, burning longing

  120. في ضرام من الوغى واشتعال

    أكسب الجو حمة الإرعاد

    And nearness to your blossoms though remote

    In your presence poetry in praise

  121. ما تجلى لظلمة الليل إلا

    أطفأ الزهر نوره باتقاد

    Is my treasure and equipment for what I hope for

    I care not though my people deny

  122. لو رأى الفيلسوف نجم علاه

    ما قضى للنجوم بالمرصاد

    Having tied myself to your unseverable bond

    After being granted a vision of you

  123. أو درى الغيث جوده لعفاة

    لا أستحي أن يجود فوق الوهاد

    How could hopes be unrealized!

    O Messenger, endeavor to accept

  124. أو كسا الشمس من سناه شعاعا

    لأضا الكون في الليالي الحداد

    O Generous of world, return me with guidance

    O Beloved of God, You Who pardons

  125. رب رحب أثاره بجواد

    تؤذن الأرض تحته بارتعاد

    O Rescuer of God, undo my bonds

    Would that I knew what will be my plea, my excuse

  126. ويرى خطبه المهول بسيف

    أبيض الوجه صادق الميعاد

    On the day when we are called to account

    When souls have no power to redeem souls

  127. في نهار من الصفاح منير

    تحت ليل من مستشار الجلاد

    Taken far in distance

    Except that I have taken praising the Beloved

  128. وخميس عرمرم قد حماه

    فزها يومه على الأعياد

    Center of being, Cause of creation

    Upon whom inanimate objects prayed and were given life

  129. بأبي بكر الخليفة من جا

    ء بتصديقه الكتاب الهادي

    So gained acceptance and fortune

    O his bliss with what it contains of pride

  130. وأبي حفص المفرق الأضلا

    ل بعزم وصارم واعتقاد

    Would that I were part of this inanimate being

    My refuge, pillar, and salvation

  131. وبعثمان من حباه ببنتيه

    الرسول الشفيع يوم التنادي

    My hopes, wish, and support

    My shelter, emancipator, and protector

  132. وببعل البتول ليث هشام

    صاحب السيف واللوا والجواد

    My intercessor, rescuer, guidance

    My lamp, supporter, and healer

  133. وبعميه والصحابة والآ

    ل والأزواج ثم والأولاد

    My beloved, my qibla, my creed

    Only through your blessings can I hope

  134. فهم ما هم وهل هم إلا

    أعين الحرب ألجم الأرفاد

    To return to Medina and fortune

    Remoteness has distanced me, extending

  135. لا يخافون في الإله مهولا

    لا ولا يرقبون غير الجواد

    An era that has passed with little provision

    I have tired of this abode until sleep

  136. أيدوا دينه وعزوا حماه

    بصفاح الظبا وسمر الصعاد

    Has been replaced by vigil

    Each day fate treats me harshly

  137. ورعوا عهده وشادوا علاه

    ورعوا قوله وكاد الأعادي

    With separation from homeland and children

    When darkness falls it rains upon me

  138. وشروا طائعين جنة عدن

    بنفوس تباع يوم الجهاد

    Arrows of misery, piercing my soul

    O Most Merciful with the faithful, though

  139. مظهرو الدين بالسيوف المواضي

    مرغم الشرك بالفنا المياد

    Mothers are not asked about their children

    O Intercessor for sinners, though

  140. شرف الله نورهم وحماهم

    وحياهم باليمن والأنجاد

    Mothers are not asked about their children

    You are my rain when I thirst for flowers

  141. صدقوا القول والفعال ودانوا

    بالتزام الخلوص في الأوراد

    You are my rescue when I lack provisions

    You are my store when I am called to account

  142. يا هناهم وبشرهم حيث أضحوا

    أنجم الدين أصفيا الجواد

    You are my aid in all dire afflictions

    So absolve me of sins, for I

  143. نادهم للهدى بمحكم ذكر

    صيّر الصعب لين الإنقياد

    Am helpless to shoulder the burdens

    And aid me from disgrace, for my heart

  144. املإ السمع من حلاه وحره

    ما تلاه الإنشاء في الإنشاد

    Cannot withstand the hostile time

    O God of beings, Granter of Gifts

  145. تجد الغيث في سماء المعالي

    وترى الليث في متون الجياد

    O Responder to calls, Succor of the caller

    Remove adversity, heal every sickness

  146. قد بلته الحروب بأسا ورايا

    فأتته السعود بالإسعاد

    Forgive sins, correct my darkened night

    Protect the King with the King - my father Umar the Content

  147. وحباه الجهاد فتحا ونصرا

    أرغما أنف كل ذي إلحاد

    The lofty, mighty pillar

    Aid him, and grant him mighty victory

  148. وسع العالمين علما وحلما

    فهو غيث الندى وبحر النادي

    Foil the schemes of every hostile foe

    Prolong his life, and bless him

  149. صبح فضل قد حقق الظن فيه

    أنه الصبح في علا واتقاد

    Make his remembrance last eternally

    Grant him abundant good

  150. تتقي بأسه الكماة فأعلى

    حا لجبارها أطراح العناد

    And protect his supremacy from envious hands

    Give him in the Gardens the best abode

  151. إن لله فيه سرا غريبا

    أظهرته عوالم الأضداد

    After a felicitous life of righteousness

    Guard with fortune his son, the best successor

  152. غرة في تواضع واقتدار

    في عفاف ولينة واعتداد

    None after him acceptable to the worshippers

    The Exalted, Fortunate, cave of Bani Hafs

  153. أم بالرسل والأملاك جمعا

    في مقام حباه بالأفراد

    The guarded secret, lion of battle

    Establish Your servant with victory and openings

  154. يا رسولا إلى هداه أوينا

    فأوينا من الضلال لهادي

    And ascension, honor, guidance

    Have mercy on all Muslims and bestow upon them

  155. حاش لله أن يرى لك شبها

    يا إمام العلا وخير العباد

    Acceptance of supplication and provision

    Pardon my parents and perfect their strength

  156. ضل من رام حصر ما فيك مما

    حزته بالحساب والأعداد

    With continuing beautiful bestowal

    Grant Ibn al-Khaldun from You lasting glory

  157. هل تحاط السماء والأرض قيسا

    أن توفى البحار بالأمداد

    And bounty overflowing with aid

    What am I in the presence of Your pardon, my Lord

  158. أم يحد التراب كما وتحصى

    مفردات الجود بالتعداد

    Is pardon ought but the act of the Generous?

    And perpetuate upon us rains of prayers

  159. حاش لله الأمر أمر عظيم

    ليس قدر الألوف كالأحاد

    And peace upon the Intercessor of worshippers

    And upon the Family, Companions, and Successors

  160. قمت بالحق والأنام قعود

    وطردت العناد يوم الطراد

    Following in guidance

    With this healing litany the Wise One invoked:

  161. ودرى الشرك كنه بأسك لما

    سفه أحلامه هداك البادي

    “Lord, save me from the eyes of enviers.”

  162. وشدا الجن بامتداحك حتى

    أطرب الانس صوت ذاك الشاد

  163. لي إليك اشتياق ضاح لظل

    وقريب من ورده وهو صادي

  164. ومن الشعر في جنابك مدح

    هو ذخري وعدتي لمعادي

  165. ما أبالي وقد وثقت بحبل

    منك يمتد إن تنكر عادي

  166. حاش لله بعدما نلت رحبا

    منك في النوم أن يخيب مرادي

  167. يا شفيع الأنام جد بقبول

    يا كريم الورى أفىء برشاد

  168. يا حبيب الإله من يعفو

    يا نجي الإله فك قيادي

  169. ليت شعري ما حيلتي واعتذاري

    أم بماذا أجيب يوم التنادي

  170. يوم لا تملك النفوس خلاصا

    لنفوس تسام بالأبعاد

  171. غير أني اتخذت مدح حبيب

    نقطة الكون علة الإيجاد

  172. من عليه الجماد صلى وحيّى

    فحظى بالقبول والإسعاد

  173. يا هناه بما حوى من فخار

    ليتني كنت بعض هذا الجماد

  174. يا ملاذي وعمتدي وغياثي

    يا أماني ومنيتي وعمادي

  175. يا مجيري ومعتقي ونصيري

    يا شفيعي منقذي ورشادي

  176. يا سراجي ومنجدي وطبيبي

    يا حبيبي وكعبتي واعتقادي

  177. ليس إلا بفضل جاهك أرجو

    رجعة نحو طيبة وسعاد

  178. بعدت بي مسافة وتمادي

    أمد قد قضى بقلة زاد

  179. وسئمت المقام حتى لقد صا

    ر منامي مبدلا بسهاد

  180. كل يوم يسومني الدهر خسفا

    بفراق الأوطان والأولاد

  181. وإذا الظلام جن رماني

    بسهام الإنكال الأنكاد

  182. يا رحيما بالمؤمنين إذا لم

    يسأل الأمهات عن الأولاد

  183. يا شفيعا في المذنبين إذا لم

    يسأل الأمهات عن الأولاد

  184. أنت غيثي إذا ظمئت لورد

    أنت غوثي إذا افتقرت لزاد

  185. أنت ذخري إذا دعيت لعرض

    أنت عوني على الأمور الشداد

  186. فأجزني من الذنوب لأني

    عاجز أن أنوء بالأطواد

  187. وأغثني من الهوان فقلبي

    ليس يقوى على الزمان المعادي

  188. يا إله الورى ومولى العطايا

    يا مجيب الندا وغوث المنادي

  189. أكشف الكرب واشف كل سقيم

    واغفر الذنب واصح ليل العناد

  190. وصن الملك بالملك أبي عمر الرضا

    الأشمخ الرفيع العماد

  191. وأعنه وانصره نصرا عزيزا

    وأجره من كيد كل معادي

  192. وأطل عمره وبارك عليه

    وأدم ذكره مدى الآبادي

  193. وأنله من كل خير جزيل

    واحم علياه من يد الحساد

  194. واعطه في الجنان خير مقام

    بعد عمر ممتع بسداد

  195. واحم بالسعد نجله خير وال

    يرتضى بعده لعهد العباد

  196. ذا المعالي المسعود كهف بني

    حفص السرى الحفيل ليث الطراد

  197. وأقم بنده بنصر وفتح

    وارتقاء وعزة ورشاد

  198. وارحم المسلمين وامنن عليهم

    بقبول الإصدار والإيراد

  199. واعف عن والدي واحسن قواهم

    بجميل مواصل الإمداد

  200. وامنح ابن الخلوف منك بطول

    وسماح يمن بالإنجاد

  201. من أنا في جناب عفوك ربي

    وهل العفو غير فعل الجواد

  202. وأدم منا سح سحب صلاة

    وسلام على شفيع العباد

  203. وعلى الآل والصحابة طرا

    وعلى التابعين بالإرشاد

  204. ما شفى بالرقى حكيم ونادى

    رب سلم من أعين الحساد
