Blame me not, for I obey my soul's desire
And love whom I should not, this fate so dire
My ways entrenched, to love the white and pale
And change habits ingrained, beyond the pale
You blame who's heart is hardened, cold as stone
Mine is tender, blameless, on its own
If loving deeply is my only sin
Then blameless is my heart, blame falls not in
