أَمَلَلْتَني وَزَعمتَ أن

نَك خائفٌ منّي الملالَهْ

You blamed me and claimed that

you fear my boredom

وأطعتَ فيَّ وما أطعْ

تَ محرِّفاً أبداً مقالَهْ

And you obeyed regarding me but never

obeyed one who distorts his saying

وعلمتَ منّي ما علمْ

تَ فلِمْ علمتَ على الجهالَهْ

And you knew from me what you knew

so why did you pretend ignorance?

يا مَنْ جفاني في الضّحى

وأَزارني وهْناً خيالَهْ

O you who ignored me in the morning

and visited me with his imagination's weakness

وحُرِمتُ منه صحيحَه

وقبلتُ مضطرّاً مُحالَهْ

And I was deprived of him while healthy

and accepted, compelled, his impossible thing

هل ضامنٌ منكمْ لنا

ضمن الجميل فما بَدا لَهْ

Is there anyone among you who guarantees for us

who guarantees good but it did not appear to him
