1. الفَجرُ بَينَ اللَيلِ وَالصُبحِ

    كَالعُذرِ بَينَ العَتبِ وَالصَفحِ

    Dawn between night and morn

    Is like excuse between blame and pardon

  2. فَاِنعَم بِصَهباءٍ لَها مَنظَرٌ

    جُملَتُهُ تُغني عَنِ الشَرحِ

    So enjoy the bright clouds whose sight

    Makes description redundant

  3. فَالأَرضُ تُجلى بِالعُقودِ الَّتي

    قَد نَظَّمَتها السُحبُ بِالسَحِّ

    The earth is revealed in necklaces

    Strung by clouds with dazzle

  4. شَقيقُها ما بَينَ خَيرِيِّها

    كَاللأَذبَينَ المُصمَتِ المُحّي

    Its twin between its glories

    Is like two silent, shy gazelles
