كَم إِلى كَم تَكونُ أَيدي المَعاصي

عاقِداتٍ أَطرافَها بِالنَواصي

How long will the hands of disobedience

Be tied at their fingertips

أَيُّها الناسُ إِن أَرَدتُم خَلاصا

فَاِستَعينوا عَلَيهِ بِالإِخلاصِ

O people, if you want deliverance

Then seek it through sincerity

لَيسَ أَقصى المُنى سِوى العَفوِ مِمَّن

يُرتَجى العَفوُ مِنهُ يَومَ القَصاصِ

The utmost hope is but to be pardoned

By the One from whom pardon is hoped for on the Day of Retribution
