سَلَوتُ عَن هاجِري وَعِندي

أَنِّيَ في ذاكَ غَيرُ فارِهْ

I greet you from afar, though you are near

It's said I flee what I hold dear

فَقيلَ لي إِذ أَذَعتُ هَذا

يُخارُ لِلعَبدِ وَهوَ كارِه

When I claimed this, they said to me
